If you're a mom, I'm sure this rings true for you.

Celebrating motherhood is important. There are plenty of shitty days, cranky days, sleepless nights, pukey clothes, poopy diapers, scraped knees, and bumped heads to get bogged down in. It's sometimes hard to keep a positive perspective when you've got a screaming, napless child, work to be done, ...you get the point. I've been there; you've been there; all moms have.

Work full-time, part-time, stay at home, work at home: Moms Rock sees no designation. This really reaches to the common bond that all moms can share and focus on, regardless of where they're at in life or how they're doing their particular brand of motherhood. It's easy for moms to get caught up in what separates us, I see it all the time. I love that this is based in what all moms do, it's something we can all relate to.

So when it comes to celebrating motherhood and focusing on all the awesome, positive parts - I'm all about it! Kim at Moms Rock Shop is doing just that. I love the cute logo, the beautiful manifesto, and her passion for what she does. She's also donating a portion of all proceeds back to women's shelters. Love that.

Yes, it was Lovie's birthday this week, but I think that calls for a little celebration of being her mom, too. =D
