Website: Simple layout, lots of content. It could be a little more polished. Shopping is easy with plenty of photos and easy navigation. When something is sold out, it still shows in the product navigation, but shows "sold" instead of a price.

You can also shop by category, which is complemented by fun, engaging content from Heather, the site owner. She provides insights into topics like cloth diapering and co-sleeping from first-hand experience (all the products she sells are baby & mom approved!). You get a down-to-earth perspective from a mom who’s been there and if you’re new to something, there’s a little bit of context instead of just dumping you headfirst into pages of product information. I think this is a really valuable feature! (And one you won't find on many other sites.)

The goods: I ordered Soap Nuts, a detergent scoop, some RLR laundry treatment, Eucalan no-rinse wool wash, Rumparooz G2 one-size, Northern Essence Wool Wash bar sample, and Imse Vimse wool shampoo.

Shipping: Banana Peels Diapers has some of the most reasonable shipping rates I've found - super economical! Between $1.50 and $3.50 for orders to $49.99 and free for orders $50.00 and up.

Perks:

• I really like that Heather has tried everything she sells and shares her insights on the site. Cloth diapering can be intimidating, so that info is valuable to new cloth diaperers and veterans, alike.
• Selection, selection, selection!...if you want it, there's a good chance you can find it at Banana Peels!

Overall: This in my top few favorites of all the cloth diapers stores I've shopped in and reviewed! I love the selection, I love the samples, and I just think it's great! The website isn't the best, but everything else is so overwhelmingly positive that I still rate this site at the top of my list. Heather has done a really great job of choosing her inventory and creating a store that really does offer everything families need to cloth diaper, right down to the details like mineral deposit removers for the laundry. Prices are competitive and fair, and it's clear that she cares about her customers' experiences and is passionate about what she does, too. I've shopped at quite a few cloth diapers stores online, and Banana Peels is one of the best!
